Through partnerships, volunteer efforts, and fundraising, the Foundation acts as the helping hand that improves and strengthens life in our community.”
About The Foundation
The Georgia Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a small foundation with a big heart and a strong commitment to making a difference. Since its inception in the fall of 2006, the Foundation has generously supported a wide range of organizations throughout the community, helping improve the lives of countless individuals in need.
The Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to service through a combination of well-executed fundraising events and the generous sponsorship of local businesses and individuals. We are privileged to receive ongoing volunteer support and financial contributions from residents of The Georgia Club community, club members, and other compassionate supporters who share our mission.
While it is difficult to measure the full impact of our efforts, we know that our work has made a meaningful difference. Through our donations and volunteer hours, we help provide weekend meals to 110 children and support summer programming through the Oconee Food for Kids program. We also help 185 disabled children and young adults experience fuller, more connected lives through Extra Special People, expanding their opportunities and world experiences. In addition, each year we support approximately 30 families through our Christmas Adopt-A-Family program in partnership with local Family Connection organizations, helping families celebrate the holiday season and offering relief during challenging times.
These are just a few examples of the ways the Georgia Club Foundation and its supporters bring compassion and support to the community.
The true impact of kindness is difficult to quantify. We may never know which child succeeded because they were fed, which family found hope during the holidays, or which patient found comfort in their final days because we supported St. Mary’s Hospice. What we do know is that these acts of generosity ripple outward, touching lives in ways we may never fully see.
By operating efficiently and thoughtfully reviewing charitable requests, the Georgia Club Foundation ensures that donations directly reach those who need them most. Our goal remains the same today as it was at the beginning: to help meet the educational, spiritual, and basic human needs of individuals and families throughout the northeast Georgia counties surrounding The Georgia Club community.
